Scotland’s Climate March, Saturday 15th November, 11am, Glasgow Green
On Saturday 15th November, people will be travelling from all over Scotland to march in Glasgow as part of a global day of climate action. This march for a better world brings together all kinds of groups to demand stronger climate action while COP30 takes place in Brazil. The key demands are for global solidarity, a fair transition, and caring for our planet.
As the news breaks that we have passed our first irreversible tipping point, with the oceans warming so drastically that coral reefs around the world will be unable to recover, it has never been more urgent for us to stand together and fight for the better future we know is possible. Far right movements are blaming the huge problems in our society on some of the most vulnerable people in our communities, and it’s time to create our own narratives about a future where everyone is respected and cared for.
We’ll be joining the march from Argyll, and you can too! We highly encourage people to lift share and travel together, so please reach out if you’re planning on travelling from somewhere in Argyll and want to offer lifts.
If you’re travelling from Helensburgh, a group of TfC members will be getting the train from Helensburgh Central at 9.55am.
If you’re travelling from Oban, Laura will be driving to Dumbarton Central to catch the train from there, leaving Oban at 7.45am with 6 spare seats in her van – get in touch with us if you’d like to nab one!

Two cars will be heading from Lochgilphead but these are already full, if you would also like to drive from Mid Argyll and can offer lifts, let us know – otherwise the timings of the 926 bus leaving Lochgilphead at 7.49am works perfectly for attending the march.
The gathering point for the march is near the People’s Palace on Glasgow Green, assembling at 11am for the march to set off at 12 noon. For updates and what to expect on the day, you can sign up here: https://act.foe.scot/climate_march_2025
Looking forward to seeing you there!
