Our purpose

We are a group of Argyll and Bute residents who are concerned about the threats to environmental stability and want to bring about change by speaking out, proposing effective solutions, demonstrating our support and working with local elected representatives to keep climate change on the agenda. We seek to raise awareness of both the threats posed by climate change and environmental degradation, and the potential solutions to these problems, on a local level appropriate to Argyll and Bute.

What we do

We build relationships with our local MP, MSPs and Councillors, expressing the urgency and scale of the issues and urging them to educate themselves on the climate crisis and take more action. We also organise awareness-raising events in our local communities, acting as a link between communities, businesses, civil society groups and politicians.

Watch our second short ‘Hopes for the Future’ film, which celebrates the climate future we are all working towards.
A short film made by some of our members in Tayvallich, talking about our hopes for the future.
