Vote for climate action in this General Election!
With time rapidly slipping away to meet our legally binding Net Zero targets, action at UK Government level to reduce emissions, bring down fuel poverty, provide clean energy and restore biodiversity has been woefully inadequate. The next UK Government could either see us pass irreversible tipping points, or take action to turn things around and provide a liveable future for us and future generations.
It’s absolutely vital that people vote with the climate in mind at these elections, and that’s why we have organised a climate-focussed hustings event to allow voters to hear directly from our MP candidates how they are planning to tackle the climate crisis.
The event will take place on Monday 17th June from 6.30-8.30pm at Lochgilphead Joint Campus. Everyone is welcome to attend and to ask your climate related questions there!
If you can’t make it along in person, you can watch online. Sign up to attend online here: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/argyll-bute-climate-hustings-online-tickets-919961628997
