In June we had a really interesting talk from Feargal de Buiteleir at Home Energy Scotland. One of the questions that people had for Feargal was how to make older buildings more heat efficient, as many of the houses in Argyll are old and drafty! If this is you, you may be interested in this in-person event run by Home Energy Scotland in Lochgilphead.
Home Energy Scotland and the Lochgilphead Conservation Area Regeneration Scheme (CARS) run by Argyll and Bute Council are organising an event in Lochgilphead on the 15th of September called ‘Keeping Warm in Older Homes’.
This event is aimed at people living in older or traditional buildings including properties that are listed or in conservation areas and will offer advice on appropriate energy efficiency measures, renewable heating options and funding. There will also be a presentation from Moses Jenkins, Senior Technical Officer at Historic Environment Scotland.
The event will take place at the Baptist Church Hall in Lochgilphead between 2pm and 7pm on the 15th of September.
